Question 1

What is a natal chart?

Accepted Answer

A natal chart is a map of the sky at the exact moment and location of your birth. It records the positions of the Sun, Moon, and eight other planets across the zodiac, then places them into 12 houses. The result is a diagram specific to you — no two natal charts are identical unless two people are born at the same time, in the same place, down to the minute.

Question 2

How does Sky Above calculate natal charts?

Accepted Answer

Sky Above uses the Swiss Ephemeris — the same astronomical library used by professional astrologers worldwide — to calculate planetary positions accurate to the arcminute. The calculation happens first. AI never guesses or invents planetary positions. Once the chart is computed from verified astronomical data, AI interprets the patterns across 9 sections.

Question 3

What does a Sky Above reading include?

Accepted Answer

Sky Above's full reading covers 9 sections: At a Glance, Core Identity, Emotional Life, How You Think and Communicate, Love and Relationships, Drive and Career, Where You're Growing, Your Edge, and Patterns to Work With. Each reading is generated from your specific birth data.

Question 4

What is the Big Three in astrology?

Accepted Answer

Your Big Three are your Sun sign, Moon sign, and Rising sign (Ascendant). Your Sun represents your core identity, your Moon represents your emotional inner world, and your Rising sign shapes how others perceive you. Together, they form the foundation of your natal chart.

Question 5

How is Sky Above different from Co-Star or other astrology services?

Accepted Answer

Sky Above calculates charts with the Swiss Ephemeris (accurate to arcminutes), then generates a personalized reading across 9 sections. Most services provide one-paragraph descriptions based on Sun sign alone. Sky Above interprets your complete chart — all 10 planets, 12 houses, and aspect patterns — in plain English.

You already know your pattern. You just never had the words.
